European Studies Master Program of the University of Latvia kindly invites to a guest-lecture "Comparative Analyses of Cross-Border Cooperation and Migration Tendencies in Europe and AAA Countries" by professor Dr. Emmanuel Brunet-Jailly, Jean Monnet Chair, School of Public Administration,Co-Director of the European Studies Program & of the Local Government Institute, Director of the European Union Centre of Excellence & Jean Monnet Center of Excellence, Principal Investigator - Borders In Globalization – a 30-university research program on borders world wide, Chief Editor Journal of Borderlands Studies (Taylor & Francis group), University of Victoria (Canada)

The guest-lecture will take place on Monday, December 14, at the Faculty of Economics and Management (Aspazijas boulevard 5), room 414 at 18:15-19:15. The lecture will be held in English and followed by Q&A session and discussions. Professor Dr. Emmanuel Brunet-Jailly is a Canadian politics and public policy scholar at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, where he is professor of public policy. He is Jean Monnet Chair  and director of the European Centre of Excellence. He is chief editor of the international scholarly publication Journal of Borderlands Studies (JBS).
