In recent years, the University of Latvia and the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics have purposefully implemented the world-renowned principles of outstanding universities, efficiently evolving research and cooperation with industry, providing internationally significant contributions to science and practical solutions to national issues. We will definitely continue our daily work to strengthen the achieved recognition and further our contribution to world science, as well as to Latvian society and economy, ensuring that it occupies a proper place in the coming years,” emphasizes the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics of the University of Latvia, Professor Gundars Bērziņš.
Riga Technical University (ranked 251–300) and Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (ranked 401–500) also represent Latvia in "THE Emerging Economies University Rankings 2021”. Several Chinese universities lead this ranking: The 1st place is taken by Tsinghua University, the 2nd place – by Peking University, while the 3rd place – by Zhejiang University.
In total, this ranking includes 606 universities from 48 countries.
