For the participants who will take part in the webinar, it will be a great opportunity to start working on the development of their idea and receive advice from mentors in order to more successfully participate in the hackathon "Sparkling the NEB spirit across Riga's municipality", which will take place from November 10 to 12 at the University of Business, Management and Economics in the faculty. The goal of the project is to bring together residents and students to participate in the development of business ideas and solutions that would positively affect the use of resources and waste management in Riga. The hackathon will start in the evening of November 10 and end in the afternoon of November 12. During the event, all participants will be provided with food. The hackathon will be led by an experienced team of entrepreneurship education professionals from the educational technology company Kimitisik, whose participants are from the Netherlands, Hungary and Italy. "Kimitisik" specializes in innovation of learning approaches and innovation education, as well as digital transformation.
At the end of the hackathon, the teams will present their ideas to the jury members. The best team will be able to continue working on their idea with a EUR 10,000 grant aimed at supporting the development, prototyping and testing of their solutions. Participation in webinars and hackathons is free.
