Experience valued by employers
The Student Self-Government is a voluntary student organization that represents the interests of students at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences (FESS) of the University of Latvia. The Self-Government enriches student life, making it more diverse, positive, and filled with cultural events, while also advocating for students in academic matters.
Participation in the FESS Student Self-Government (SP) adds significant value to your studies. It offers an opportunity to gain new and valuable experience in an informal environment—whether by running for and serving in the University of Latvia Student Council, engaging directly with the practical aspects of your studies, organizing events and initiatives, or showcasing and developing your unique talents.
Every student is welcome to join the FESS SP throughout the year, either to get involved and contribute or to seek support and advice.
FESS SP members are active not only within the Self-Government and the Faculty but also in various University of Latvia institutions, representing student interests.
