Every student who participates in study mobility receives a scholarship.

Participation in the ERASMUS+ programme is possible multiple times.

If you have already used an LLP/ERASMUS grant for a study semester abroad, you may still use the remaining months out of the total 12 months available for participation in ERASMUS+.

For example, if you have already completed 5 months of exchange studies, the remaining 7 months may be used for both traineeships and studies within the ERASMUS+ programme.

Remember!

The required documents and application deadlines vary significantly between host institutions, therefore it is essential to take the time to carefully review the offers and requirements of the universities you are interested in.

  • Before departing for exchange studies, the student submits to the faculty coordinator an application addressed to the Dean, signed by both the student and the Programme Director, regarding studies abroad, together with the form on the completion of Part A courses.
  • Based on this application, an official order on studies abroad is prepared within the first two weeks of the semester.
  • During the registration week, register in the University of Latvia Information System (LUIS) for the next study semester, Part A courses, and the course paper, if required according to the study plan.
  • An order on the extension of the examination session is prepared a few weeks before the session.
  • Observe all deadlines related to language tests, interim assessments, and other requirements.
  • In case of an emergency, immediately inform the Department of International Cooperation of the University of Latvia and the faculty coordinator.
  • Upon return, complete all online tests received by email and submit all required documents to the Department of International Cooperation.
  • The second scholarship payment (10%) is transferred to the student’s bank account within 30 days after submission of the Erasmus+ individual participant report online and all required reporting documents to the Department of International Cooperation.
  • Submit the Transcript of Records received from the host institution to the study methodologist; based on this document, the recognition of your study results will be carried out.
  • If the Transcript of Records from the host institution is delayed, during the registration week consult the study methodologist to convert the ECTS credits for each course in order to clarify the scope of completed courses and their allocation within the study programme.
  • Observe the extended examination session deadline and note that all assignments and examinations must be completed at least five working days before this deadline, allowing instructors sufficient time to assess your academic results.
  • To support other students, share your experience and insights regarding the chosen host institution after your return.

PRAKSE

  • ārvalstu uzņēmumos;

  1. Jāsameklē uzņēmums ārvalstīs un jāsaņem provizorisks akcepts, ka šis uzņēmums būtu gatavs Tevi uzņemt kā praktikantu;

  2. Jāaizpilda elektroniskā pieteikuma anketa;

  3. Jāpievieno:

  1. Erasmus Student Network platformā prakses vietām ERASMUS+ ietvaros http://erasmusintern.org/
