The annual International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia (UL) serves as a platform for the exchange of research findings, ideas, and perspectives among scholars, lecturers, students, and representatives of industry—an integral component of scientific activity.
During the 83rd UL International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia, held from 15 January to 7 April 2025, a plenary session and 15 section meetings across various fields of the social sciences are scheduled. Registration for participation in the conference has opened, and interested parties are invited to submit their paper topics by 3 January 2025.
This year, the plenary session, organised by the UL Faculty Economics and Social Science, will focus on the digital economy, addressing issues of policy, competition, and emerging economic models. The plenary session will take place on 22 January 2025, followed by 17 section meetings covering economics, management, sociology, and other areas of the social sciences.
