In this project, the main focus is on the potential and impact of generative AI in the field of social sciences and finance higher education at the University of Latvia and the BA School of Business and Finance. The primary aim of the project is to expand traditional teaching methods and enrich the learning experience by integrating advanced AI technologies. The study involves a comprehensive review of the latest literature, an assessment of effective case studies, and pedagogical strategies that employ generative AI. It also evaluates the current experience of faculty and students at the mentioned higher education institutions in using AI. By examining how these technologies are integrated into everyday education, the project identifies usage gaps and highlights opportunities for significant improvements. The overall objective of the project is to contextualize generative AI applications at both the individual and institutional levels, paving the way for the development and implementation of informed AI teaching tools and methodologies.
