You create your own most memorable study experiences. Apply for Erasmus+ exchange studies by 14 September!
What is Erasmus+ mobility?
Erasmus+ study mobility gives students the opportunity to undertake an integrated study period at a partner university in one of the programme countries. The aim of the programme is to enable students to gain valuable academic, linguistic, and cultural experience by studying in other European countries, while supporting the development of well-qualified, open-minded, and internationally experienced young people—the future professionals.
Mobility is carried out in accordance with the Erasmus+ bilateral agreements concluded by each faculty. These agreements specify the number of exchange students and the study levels eligible for exchange in a given academic year.
Important eligibility requirements:
- Student status at the University of Latvia (UL). Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral students who are enrolled at UL and are not on a study interruption may participate in study mobility.
- Bachelor’s students may apply for mobility after completing their first year of studies. Students must have no outstanding tuition fee payments.
- Good academic performance: a weighted average grade of at least 7 in “A” (mandatory) courses and no outstanding academic requirements.
- Good knowledge of English or the language of the host country.
- Applicants may only apply to universities with which cooperation agreements have been concluded and where the exchange student quota has not already been filled during the autumn semester.
