2022. gada rudens semestrī LU SZF 3. kursa Komunikācijas zinātnes BSP Žurnālistikas un Multimediju producēšanas moduļa studentiem, kā arī Erasmus studentiem Mariupoles Valsts universitātes asociētais profesors Sergii Pakhomenko lasa kursu "Vēstures naratīvi propagandā: Krievijas un Ukrainas piemērs" (Historical Narratives in Propaganda: Cases studies of Russia and Ukraine).
Dr. Pakhomenko savu doktora grādu ieguvis vēsturē (Institute of History of Ukraine, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2003)), un ir strādājis gan Tartu Universitātē, gan Vytautas Magnus Universitātē Kauņā, gan Lundas Universitātē (Zviedrija) un citur. Viņš pašreiz docē Latvijas Universitātes Sociālo zinātņu fakultātē, turpinot iepriekš nodibināto sadarbību un saņemot atbalstu no Eiropas Sociālā fonda projekta "Akadēmiskā personāla atjaunotne un kompetenču pilnveide Latvijas Universitātē".
